IMMORTAL SOULS signs with DARK BALANCE

We are pleased to announce that Immortal Souls signed a deal with Dark Balance, a pretty new label based in The Netherlands which will be able to bring the band to the next level. Ofcourse we will miss the ice-cold Finnish legion, but memories will remain. The contract with Fear Dark was ended and both parties agreed that this new move would be best. Their new album 'Wintereich' will be released June 1, 2007. Make sure you get a copy of it!

We are very sorry to announce that Immortal Souls have to cancel the Fear Dark Festivals. Their vocalist just went through a medical operation for some problems with his throath. Due to this he isn't able to speak at all right now, and doctors won't let him go on tour.

The good news is that we have found very suitable replacement for the Fear Dark Festivals in Holland. From Norway we present Drottnar! As many fans know they play an unique mix of black-metal, industrial, death-metal and experimental dark rock. Their latest album 'Welterwerk' has been received very well by the international press (Aardschok 8/10). Even if you don't like the music of Drottnar, their live-show will blow you away! So make sure you don't miss the Fear Dark Festivals!

For the German/Swiss Festivals we invite the Germans of World to Ashes. This melodic death metal band was formed back in 2005. Two years later rumors are going around and tell: 'this might be the next thing in Germany if you are talking about death metal.' Jut check it out yourself!

Royal Anguish is going through some line-up changes. The band officially announced that Asgrim (Yeti, Council of the Fallen, Chalice) has joined the band on keyboards and that Tom Klinesmith (Nightsbane, Morbid Sacrifice) is their new drum player. Both already toured with Royal Anguish through Europe last year.

At the same time the band makes public that both Katy Decker (female vocals) and Marius Kozlowski (guitars) left Royal Anguish. They joined forces in their new gothic-metal band Mena Brinno. Royal Anguish will work on new material this year, that will have a more ‘sinister and punishing’ sound, according to the band.

Kekal is currently searching for a new record-label to release their upcoming cd 'The Habit Of Fire'. Fear Dark released three albums of Kekal as well as the split-cd they've done with Slechtvalk. With their new songs Kekal will try to make name outside the extreme metalscene. For that reason Kekal and Fear Dark decided to end their co-operation. More news you can find on the bands new website www.kekalonline.com
     News - December 2006

Eluveitie signed a new record-deal with Twilight from Germany. This means the band is leaving Fear Dark. Ofcourse we feel disappointed because of this, but on the other hand we know this is best for Eluveitie. Twilight is a much bigger label then Fear Dark and for Eluveitie it's the right move on the right time to make on their way to the absolute pagan-metal top! We have had a great time together with the Swiss celtic-clan, for sure a time to remember. But ofcourse their new record-deal won't mean that Fear Dark and Eluveitie no longer join forces. We will continu to promote their amazing celtic pagan-metal everywhere, and ofcourse keep on selling their great albums 'Vên' and 'Spirit'. We wish Eluveitie all the best!

Slechtvalk will be joining Manegarm (S) on their mini-tour through Holland and Belgium. This will be the first shows for Slechtvalk without female vocalist Fionnghuala, who recently left the band. Metalfans in Belgium will have a very special show, as Eluveitie will be joining Manegarm and Slechtvalk here before they travel to Paris in France for their gig in La Loco.

Both Kekal and Immortal Souls are working on new albums. More news will follow within a few months.
     News - October 2006
